Doing work that really matters.

Living a value-aligned lifestyle.

I call it “living intentionally”, world-changer, and I want you to have it all.

But knowing where to start and what to do isn’t always easy.

There’s a lot to learn, even more to do, and you’re already busy as hell.

After 5 years coaching beginner entrepreneurs in the personal brand online space, I’ve made a shift to more directly support WORLD-CHANGERS like you be the change you wish to see and leave the legacy your dreams are made of.

The world is in big trouble, and you aren’t satisfied being on the sidelines for one more minute.

You want a seat at the table.

Heck, you want to build your own damn table.

You have things to say, changes to make, and a movement (or two) to lead.

And I’m here to make it easier and more fun to create the exact life you want for yourself.

I’m Kathleen Ventura, a mentor for smart women who see the state of the world and have big ambitions for playing a major role in the change they wish to see.

I support world-changers who understand the value of having a mentor that has gone before them so they don’t have to reinvent the wheel or go at it alone.

“A mentor should be someone who has more life experience than you; someone you aspire to be like or who you think shares your morals and values.

If you can find the right mentor, you will find yourself receiving an invaluable informal education.”

-Sara Price

Nine reasons mentor relationships are ?

1. Mentors provide information and knowledge.
2. Mentors can see where we need to improve where we often cannot.
3. Mentors find ways to stimulate our personal and professional growth.
4. Mentors offer encouragement and help keep us going.
5. Mentors are disciplinarians that create necessary boundaries that we cannot set for ourselves.
6. Mentors are sounding boards so we can bounce ideas off them for an unfiltered opinion
7. Mentors are trusted advisers.
8. Mentors can be connectors.
9. Mentors have the experiences you can learn from to prevent making the same mistakes beginners make.

These are areas of professional and life experience I have that may help me in supporting you…

TEDx Talk – Living Intentionally Breeds Freedom

In 2015 I was invited to give a TEDx talk in Austin, Texas. Sharing my most core fundamental value and philosophy with the world on such a stage was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I will always encourage you to speak your truth, command an audience (large and small) for your message, and shoot for the big opportunities.

Thru-Hike of the John Muir Trail

This photo was taken at the top of Muir Pass late afternoon the day I injured my foot on the toughest stretch of the JMT–5 passes in 5 days. I stood there & cried in disbelief.

One of the greatest lessons of my life was embedded into my soul on that trail: If it’s gonna be it’s up to me.

If I was capable of this, what else am I capable of?

Award-Winning Sedona Compost, LLC

In just under a year Brock and I built a local, small business that was awarded the 2019 Environmental Stewardship Award of Excellence.

From concept to the first sale in just under 2.5 weeks, I know how to create a brand, establish a business model, and market a service to ideal customers.

It is a dream to own and operate a business that is literally helping save the planet and engaging the community.

Built My Dream Coaching Business

When I decided to build a location-independent coaching practice I had vision boards full of images. In just a few short years I realized all that was on that vision board and more.

During this time I learned invaluable business knowledge and became a mastery-level transformational coach.

My experience building a global brand, accessing PR opportunities, networking with the industry’s influential personalities, building a community of clients I adore, creating and marketing courses, & scaling to multiple six-figures in under two years means there is a lot I can help you with so you don’t have to make many of the mistakes I did along the way.

Teaching ESL in Costa Rica

While all of my friends in college were gearing up for their first jobs post-grad, I was sitting my parents down to let them know I had bought a one-way ticket to Costa Rica to start a one-month ESL training certification two weeks after graduation.

One month turned into 15 months, a job, apartment, bank account, and social life. Moving to a country all by myself where I knew no one was one of many leaps that required me to learn to build my wings after jumping.

You should always lean into the things in life that elicit the “that’s crazy” comments. The more “crazy” accusations you get, the more likely you’re on the right track!

10-Years Strong

I’m definitely no love or marriage expert, but I’d say that a 10-year marriage to someone is serious work and life experience in itself. There are many lessons and observations about one’s role in an intimate relationship that I can always use to guide and lead you xo

Cross-Country Bike Trip

I pedaled my bicycle 5000+ miles from Virginia to Oregon and discovered what real tenacity is. The lesson that everything we do in life is likely 90% mental/10% physical, is a knowing that I will use to remind you that what you’re telling yourself in your mind is your biggest obstacle (and you have control over changing that!).

Raised on a SAD (Standard American Diet) to now being totally whole-food, plant-based, alcohol-, sugar-, and caffeine-free, I know a thing or two about changing habits to preserve my own health & the longevity of the planet’s ability to support human life and causing no unnecessary violence against animals.
